Roof leaking right now? Call us — we'll make it safe and watertight first, then talk about the permanent fix.
Whatever the roof is doing — leaking, sagging, blown apart by a storm or simply worn out — we'll tell you honestly whether it needs a repair or a replacement.
Full roof replacements in tile, slate or concrete — stripped back, re-felted, re-battened and finished with new ridge, verge and flashings.
Fast, tidy repairs for leaks, slipped tiles, cracked flashing and storm damage — including emergency call-outs when water is getting in.
Garages, extensions, dormers and commercial units — re-decked where needed and covered in EPDM rubber, torch-on felt or GRP fibreglass.
Repointing, rebuilding, new flaunching, cowls and lead flashings — chimneys are one of the most common sources of damp in older Bradford stone properties.
More on chimney workNew uPVC fascias, soffits and seamless guttering, plus repairs to leaking or sagging gutters that are soaking your walls and causing damp inside.
More on gutteringProperly dressed lead valleys, soakers, step flashings and box gutters. Bad flashing is behind a huge number of the "mystery leaks" we get called out to.
More on leadworkYou shouldn't have to take a roofer's word for it. Here are the signs we look for — and what they usually mean.
Not sure which one you've got? We'll come out, get up there, take photos and give you a straight answer — free of charge and with no obligation.
We're based on Devonshire Street in Keighley and we work right across the Bradford district. That means we're 20 minutes away when something goes wrong — not a call centre three counties over.
No surprises, no vanishing acts. This is exactly how a job runs with us.
Tell us what's happening. We'll often have a fair idea over the phone and can advise straight away.
We come out, get up on the roof and in the loft, and take photos so you can see what we can see.
An itemised price with the materials specified. Valid to think over — we won't chase you.
Booked in at a time that suits, done properly, site left clean and all waste removed.
Based in Keighley and working across the whole Bradford district and the surrounding towns:
If you're just outside the list, ring us anyway — we cover most of West Yorkshire and we'll tell you honestly if you're too far out.
Straight answers to the things Bradford homeowners ask us every week.
There's no standard price, because no two roofs are the same. What moves the cost is the size and pitch of the roof, how easy it is to get to, whether scaffolding is needed and the covering you choose — slate and natural stone sit above concrete tiles, and a roof with lots of valleys and dormers takes longer than a simple one. The only way to get a real figure is a free inspection: we'll measure up and give you an itemised written quote with no obligation.
Most domestic re-roofs take between three and seven working days once scaffolding is up. A straightforward terrace can be quicker; a large detached property, a complex roof with lots of valleys and dormers, or bad weather will push it longer. We'll give you a realistic timescale with your quote rather than an optimistic one.
No. Inspections and quotes are completely free and there's no obligation to book anything. We'll get on the roof, check the loft where we can, take photographs and explain what we've found — even if the answer is that your roof is fine and doesn't need work yet.
Yes. If water is coming into your property we'll prioritise getting you watertight — that might mean a temporary sheet or an immediate repair — and then sort the permanent fix afterwards. Call 07592 113278 and tell us it's an emergency.
It depends entirely on the covering. Old-style pour-and-roll felt might only manage 10–15 years. Modern torch-on felt systems typically last 20–25 years, GRP fibreglass around 25–30, and EPDM rubber membranes can go 30–50 years with very little maintenance. Correct falls and sound decking underneath matter just as much as the covering itself.
For any full re-roof, and for most work along the eaves or on a chimney, yes — it's a legal working-at-height requirement and it keeps everyone safe. Small one-off repairs can often be done safely from a ladder or tower. We'll always tell you upfront whether scaffolding is needed and include it in the quote so the price doesn't move later.
We're based at 38 Devonshire Street in Keighley and cover the whole Bradford district — including Shipley, Bingley, Baildon, Idle, Thornton, Queensbury, Wibsey, Eccleshill, Haworth, Silsden and Bradford city centre — plus the wider West Yorkshire area.
Yes. We work for homeowners, landlords, letting agents and businesses across Bradford, and we're used to flat roofs on commercial units, garages and industrial buildings as well as domestic pitched roofs. We can invoice for property portfolios and work around tenants where needed.
Speak to a roofer, not a salesperson. Tell us what the roof is doing and we'll tell you what it needs.
